Docmosis can help prepare a document for signing using signature services such as signNow.
This example demonstrates how to add a signNow signature tag into a Docmosis template.
Adding signNow signature tags to a template
A signNow signature tag can be added to a template by typing the following text:
{{t:t;r:y;o:“signer1”;l:“FullName”;}}
This is an instruction to signNow to place the name of "Signer number one" at this location. The tag is just plain text in the template - so Docmosis ignores it - and it will still be present in the generated document.
When the PDF is sent for signing, signNow searches for the tags in the syntax it knows, and creates signable fields.

Each gallery image represents one of the four stages of the document:
- Image one: The original template, which contains both Docmosis fields and signNow tags
- Image two: The PDF document created by Docmosis. The Docmosis fields have been filled in and the signNow tags have been left untouched.
- Image three: The ready-to-sign PDF, submitted to signNow and emailed to the signee
